The Parent Forum is an opportunity for Mums, Dads and Carers to meet once a term to discuss school-related issues.
Regular, open communication and consultation with parents/carers is really important to our school. The Parent Forum provides a valuable way to listen to your ideas and concerns and seek your views, helping to make sure the needs of our children and their families are met.
Meetings are led by school staff, usually Mrs Woollon and governors. Meetings are informal and a genuine opportunity for open discussion.
Examples of issues that have been discussed include:
- OFSTED and school development planning
- Communication between home and school
- Parent Views on provision
- Special Needs provision
- Behaviour & Achievement Policy
- Modern language provision
- Equality Scheme
Feedback from Parent Forum meetings is shared on our website following meetings.
If you would like to raise an issue or make a suggestion to be discussed at a future Parent Forum please send a message to the school office. Issues raised should be general issues; if you have specific concerns about your child your first point of contact should always be your class teacher.
